It seems fashionable so lets post some none-sensicle lyrics.
I hate the steam train that whistles woozy my bird brain, That sends my spaniel insane. And I’ll stop riding side saddle if they don’t stop the clickity clattle, I’ll jump in the undertow penguin paddle and drown in my wedding gown. I’ve been told the Bronx River stream on moonlit nights is meant To seem like the Rhone in a glacier icy dream but then in a poof t’s sulfur steam. I hate the aeroplane that nearly misses my birdie brain, That terrifies my terrier insane. And I’ll stop riding side saddle if they don’t stop the clickity clattle, I’ll jump in the undertow penguin paddle and drown in my wedding gown. I was drinking by the Des Plaines River when the naught of night Served for making me shiver and me the squirrels would hold hands And quiver cause that damnable diesel never fails to deliver. I hate the livery cars that have my bird brain seeing stars, That drive my Doberman to drink in bars. And I’ll stop riding side saddle if they don’t stop the clickity clattle, I’ll jump in the undertow penguin paddle and drown in my wedding gown. I hate the steam train that whistles woozy my bird brain, That sends my spaniel insane. And I’ll stop riding side saddle if they don’t stop the clickity clattle, I’ll jump in the undertow penguin paddle and drown in my dressing gown.

Normally I don't post results to memes etc., but I think this one suits me down to a tee.
Your Dominant Intelligence is Spatial Intelligence |

You've got a good sense of space and how the world around you looks. You can close your eyes and "see" images. You have innate artistic talent. An eye for color and shapes, you're also a natural designer. Since you think in pictures, visual aids and demonstartions help you learn best.
You would make a good navigator, sculptor, visual artist, inventor, architect, interior designer, or engineer.

Maxis' overhyping of the Sims 2 is gonna cause one of the biggest pirating runs since Doom 3. Already 2 torrents are out 6 days before the realease date and both are going as strong as ever after being up for about an hour.
So now pirates get the game earlier than dedicated fans who pre-ordered.

I got my results yesterday, 2 D's and 2 C's. Not amazing I admit, and I had only one offer which I knew I was never gonna get into. (Applied mainly to shut up my form tutor, not exactly the best idea :p)
Now a major university that requires B,B,B actually let me in with my C,D,D (plus a C that isn't included in the requirements). Actually got a letter through the mail asking me to send it back in to accept the course.
Maybe someone there liked the look of my Surname or something :p

I left on the 13th to Mallorca in Spain, on the East side to Alcudia.
Arrived I think at 2 oclock and didn't do much, had a walk about and got sun burnt. Found an okay pub called the Swan which was a 'British Pub'. However they did too much for the kids there and it wasn't much fun.
So the next night we went to a more american like pub called 'Cheers' and I think it was the best pub in that part of Alcudia.
The schedule was as follows:
9.00: Music Quiz 10.00: Mini-Disco for the kids 11.00: Party dances for the kids (and me :p) 11.30: Shot Challenge 12.00: Karaoke 2:00: Close
I took part in the last 3, and tryed to help with the music quiz but I suck :)
The party dances involved some volunteers from the audience dressing up as popular cartoon characters and dancing to Superman, Music Man, etc. And out of the 12 nights that I was there, I danced on 8 of them :p.
Of course the real reason I did it was for a free pint, but it was OMIGOSH so much fun.
I dressed up as Jake, Dino, Jake again, Baloo, Baloo again, then a Gorilla, Bugs Buney and finally Dino again. It was sooooo much fun, and I wasn't the only one who did it. (The free pint was a cool insentive). It was so sweaty though afterwards.
One night we went to this horse ranch called Rancho Grande, where I rode in a wagon and drunk Sangrea. Then did a bit of line-dancing after having a vegetarian bbq. However the vegetarian tossed salad kinda ruined it as it tasted awful. Still had fun though.
Pretty much everyday I went to the pool and swum underwater absolutely tonnes. Somuchfun
On the last night though, there was a bit of an arguament and someone we spent quite a long time with on the holiday got there palm bitten off. The pool area where the fight happened was cordened off like in a police video and two people went to the mega-expensive hospital. It all started when some drunk guy threatened a 57 year old Irish man's son, there father never having being in a fight in his life and also having a heart problem. The army guy who started it is still in Mallorca attempting to press charges of assualt for being defended against.
Same day, my mum yelled at the guys on the balconny above for throwing a lighter down which exploded in her face. Turns out the kids also stole some cigs from my sister and were using them for some kind of drugs which were also scattered on the floor below the balcony. I think we ruined those kids' holidays, but it was there own fault.
I brought back 2 bottles of Smirnoff (37.5%) and my brother brought back a bottle of 80%!!!! Absynth. Yikes!

I'm making minidiscs here.
Foobar 2000 > 48,000 Sampling rate, with software dithering, kernel streaming etc. With additional '5 second gap' DSP plugin so the gaps are detected right.
Foobar 2000 > SB Live! Platinum using the open source kX drivers > Optical out port
Optical Out > External Minidisc recorder onto some Maxell Media, being tagged as the playlist goes.
Now why am I doing this?
The reason is I won't be here some time in a week, as I will be somewhere else in Europe and my Brother says I need some stuff to listen to :)
The destkop minidisc recorder/player is so cool though. I think I might just have to keep it *grins*. It is so much easier to put tracks in as it uses a sort of shuffle controlled entry system where 1 complete turn takes you half way through the alphabet.
I recently saw a StudioLogic/Fatar MIDI controller which I want. The main reason being it has Piano style action. Unfortunately its a bit steep at ?400, for something that doesn't really appear to do something to the common eye. (It only sends MIDI signals and doesn't produce any sound at all.) I really want to learn how to play piano, and at the moment am trying to play any piece that I recognise and can get my hands on.
In other geeky news FIREFOX ROCKS *ahem*

The only reason I Firefox is not cause its got Fox in it. I actually used Firefox when it was called Firebird, and I don't like birds so much.
( I added that bit to aim at a target audience :D )
The reason is its quicker and easier to use (at least for me) and its generally more stable (when it does go down it only brings down firefox itself.)
As for the pop-up blocker, it might get in the way, but soon IE will feature pop-up blocking too (when SP2 will be released). I have to say that the pop-ups on your bank site are bad design from the web-page authors as quick a lot of people do run pop-up blockers of some variety. Most of these can be circumvented by going to the bottom of the browser and clicking on a pop-up blocking indictor icon, where you can chose to display them.
Princess Mononoke might very well be a good film, but I havn't watched it. I've seen some other films by the same director and they have good, but unconventional storylines, which may not appeal to many people. Anime is a bit of a wierd taste. I can say however that the other films by this 'Misakisomething' director, such as Spireted Away, Castles in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service were all good films, although I only really enjoyed the first completely.
Also, running IE doesn't so much as put people all at risk than putting yourself at risk, it's the spyware that annoys me the most, and the amount of computers I've had to fix that have been made unusable as a result.

| Change to Mozilla Firefox |
[05 Jul 2004|06:04pm] |
http://slate.msn.com/id/2103152/ recommends Mozilla Firefox, and I do to.
Go to http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ and download the Windows version, to a directory and just run. Let it replace your default browser and run it. The import wizard will automatically get all your favourites, cookies and saved passwords from IE.
Then keep using it!
If you have problems with the toolbar not being organized similar to IE, right click on it and go to 'Customize' then drag and drop your favourite buttons on so that it matches the IE toolbar. Then switch to small icons or whatnot.
Why use Firefox
Built in pop-up blocker which you don't even know is there. More secure and lacks Active-X controls, one of the main way Spyware infiltrates your computer. Quicker page loading and start-up times. Regularly updated It's called FIREFOX and fox's are cool!

I got a new Soundcard. It's amazing for use in audio applications.
Sound-Blaster Live Platinum.
If anyone here has a SB, I recommend the usage of http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/ which are unnofficial, but tighter drivers.
They allow the card to reach latencys as low as 2.66 ms O.o, and so far I've found out how to get 4 SEPREATE Line-In's, plus an optical and SPDIF in, which I don't know how to use.
Tis cool
In other news I'm a turtle, just in-case you didn't know.
I have a P3 exam tommorow which I have not revised for.

My brother works a different job now, so I'll no longer see him at lunch time. That means theres no-one in the house from when I get up, till about 6 o'clock.
Result: Now I want to be a turtle or whatnot more than anything.
Theosis: Lonliness is indirectly proportional to the will to be a human.
I told myself once, there was no point in wanting something which you can never get, and will never happen. Theres a point in wanting to win the lottery, cause you can win, and you can get pretty much everything you ever wanted.
But there are some things money can't buy. And those are the sort of things people want the most, and no mastercard can directly or indirectly get those.
I haven't seen anyone else for 12 hours. I'm supposed to be revising, but I can't be arsed.
So in the style of JK Rowling

Bryan Adams - Summer of '69 |

Inspirational Song Today
I might just phone up Salford and tell them I don't want to go for my interview tommorow, cause I got better things to do on Thursday 20th May
I got my first real six-string Bought it at the five-and-dime Played it till my fingers bled It was the summer of '69
Me and some guys from school Had a band and we tried real hard Jimmy quit and Jody got married I shoulda known we'd never get far
Oh when I look back now That summer seemed to last forever And if I had the choice Ya - I'd always wanna be there Those were the best days of my life
Ain't no use in complainin' When you got a job to do Spent my evenin's down at the drive-in And that's when I met you
Standin' on your mama's porch You told me that you'd wait forever Oh and when you held my hand I knew that it was now or never Those were the best days of my life
Back in the summer of '69
Man we were killin' time We were young and restless We needed to unwind I guess nothin' can last forever - forever, no
And now the times are changin' Look at everything that's come and gone Sometimes when I play that old six-string I think about ya wonder what went wrong
Standin' on your mama's porch You told me it would last forever Oh the way you held my hand I knew that it was now or never Those were the best days of my life
Back in the summer of '69

[05 Mar 2004|11:10pm] |
Now i have 2 guitars and a crappy keyboard.
None expecially good, all mediocre. I might need to lower the action a bit though by reducing the height of the bar on the bridge.
